There’s this man that stands in the corner
watching
His face always obscured in shadow
Only his body is present
yet I know his features express nothing but absolute hatred
Hatred for what he sees
Hatred for having to observe me
Hatred of my presence
He doesn’t speak, at times he moves and paces slowly
The sound from his steps always appear to be near yet his figure remains at a distance
The sound, a recurring noise drumming louder and louder
An agonizing sound that brings me to despair
He mocks me
He mocks me
He mocks me
I sense his eyes on me
Watching judging
Disapproving of my existence
He mocks me
He mocks me
He mocks me
